Inserts, Low Volume for Vials, Glass. Clear, Deactivated, 300ul fill volume with a conical, precision point and 6x29mm outer dimensions with plastic spring attached. For use in 2ml autosampler vials. AQ Brand. 100/PK.
Additional Info:
Improve recovery and reproducibility for sensitive analytes with deactivated low volume inserts designed to minimize surface interactions.
9502S‑02ND inserts are manufactured from first hydrolytic, Class A, Type 33 borosilicate glass and undergo a deactivation (silanization) process to reduce active surface sites. This treatment minimizes adsorption of polar and basic compounds, improving recovery and consistency compared to untreated glass inserts.
Each insert features a mandrel‑formed, precision conical tip that concentrates sample at the bottom for maximum recovery and reproducibility. Residual volume is approximately 2 µL with most autosamplers, with about 200 µL usable volume. Polypropylene springs are attached to keep the insert centered within the vial, reducing the risk of needle contact and insert breakage during operation.
Bottom depths, heights, and internal geometries are carefully controlled to ensure reliable needle alignment and consistent performance. Manufactured in an ISO 9001:2015 certified facility, these inserts provide dependable quality and reproducibility across batches.
